Hello my name is Amy, I’m a Mum of three children; Theo 10, Evie 8 and Olivia 4. I have a degree in Childcare and Education Studies as well as Qualified Teachers Status. I have over 17 years’ experience in Childcare and Education, including Nursery management and Early Years Teaching. I have also completed numerous training courses, including Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and How To Set Up A Home Based Childcare Service. I have been a Childminder for almost 4 years and I love my job!
Dotty’s Daycare is a home based childcare service which offers your child a home from home learning environment. My aim is to offer a professional, high quality experience for your little one to learn and grow. I offer care for children aged from 3 months-11 years.
I aim to provide a flexible childcare service where children feel safe, secure and happy. I follow the EYFS and provide stimulating activities which I plan and set up weekly.
I am set up at my family home where quality Indoor and Outdoor provision will be provided, with supervision at all times. I will have a mixture of child initiated play and adult led activities set up throughout the day. I will follow themes and festivals to ensure a diverse setting.
My opening hours are Tuesday to Friday 7.45am-17.45pm.
All year round, term time only and holiday contracts are all available.
I accept tax free childcare and the 2/3/4 year old funding.
I am a fully inclusive setting and I encourage a meet and greet session to ensure I am the right childcare provider for you and I can meet your child’s needs. I offer the children a range of experiences to develop them holistically. We attend groups weekly, network with other childminders, make trips to the park and most importantly we have lots of fun!
I offer before and after school care with drop off and collection from Lodge Lane Infant School and White Woman Lane Junior School.
