Aedas Angels is a Childcare establishment which was set up in 2008 as a childminders by Aeda Shaheen Butt. Aeda is joined by her daughter Ifrah Ahmad, and they currently run the setting together. After many successful years Aeda and her family have grown this business to span across a large residential setting over two properties, with ample car parking facilities for parents and staff and a separate large outdoor play area for the children to enjoy. The setting has many facilities and huge amounts of playing space for the children to enjoy. A viewing is highly recommended to thoroughly appreciate what is being offered.
Aeda is very passionate about her role, and has cared for many youngsters who have now grown up and still recall their time at Aunty Aeda's with much fondness. This passion for providing high quality care, and educating children in a nurturing and loving environment is the foundation and ethos of our business.
Monday to Friday 7:00 am – 5pm
We are a childcare on domestic setting that was set up in 2008. We care for children from birth (2 months) up until the age of 16 years old. Children who start with us can stay with us for many years, once settled they become a part of our growing Aedas Angels family. Our services include a breakfast club (7am-9am) and after school service (3pm – 6pm) and also daycare and nursery funded education. We offer a pick up and drop off service in our Aedas Angels childcare van, and we have the facilities to offer overnight care to our contracted families.
Our setting consists of a large open play area, we have a climbing frame and walk in trampoline. Multiple swings and climbing equipment, bikes, scooters for various age groups, see – saw and Astroturf area for the children to play games. Kixx Football training academy offer a football club at the setting for the nursery children, children get to enjoy learning from a professional coach who visits the setting once a week.
We have a carpeted baby room with resources suited to their age and development, this is the “Chicks” Room, once children are ready they would move to the “Turtles” Room, this is for children aged between 1 and half -3 approximately and then when ready, the children move to the 3-5 year old room, this is the “Sharks” Room where the children get ready to go to school.
We have a chef, she freshly prepares our food so that it is healthy and hot. We also cater to the individual needs of each of children to ensure that all our children have options for a healthy meal regardless of any sensory needs. We cater to all children ages and requirements. If children do not want the meal that is offered, we always have alternatives prepared so that the children have a choice of meal. Some children with suspected SEN may only want to eat a certain type of food/ brand, we are happy to liase with the family and will happily provide the foods that the children are comfortable to eat.
We are open all year around, and offer childcare on either term time only contracts or all year around contracts to suit each families circumstances.
We offer families Early Help Assessments and will refer anyone who requires additional support in their home lives, this can range with parenting advice, to mental health support for anyone in need. This is extended to families and relatives of any child attending the setting once they have met with us or shared any concerns, it is not limited to the parents of the children using our services.
We have a SCILT setting link officer who provides support and guidance for any children identified as having SEN. Once we have identified that a child may benefit from support, we put our interventions in place and monitor the children’s development accordingly. This is to ensure that every child has the chance of making progress and developing.
We are happy to collect food bank collections for any families using our services for free, if this is requested.
